Description

Maheshwari silk block printed in Ajrakh technique with kalka and floral motifs on black. Broad copper zari border. Attached blouse piece in black and beige. Crafted by artisans from Gujrat, India.

The making of an Ajrakh textile involves as many as sixteen different steps of hand-block printing with natural dyes. Patience is of the essence in the process.

Care Instructions; Wash with cold water and mild soap. Dry in shade. Dry clean only. Hand wash only.
