Glazed ceramic diya by potters at Confetti studio pottery, Daronda village, Bolpur.

The glaze is lead and cadmium-free.

Care Instructions – Hand-wash with mild soap and water is recommended. It can be vinegar washed to remove stains.

How is Confetti pottery made?
The pottery displayed at Confetti is all earthenware, a kind of functional art pottery for everyday use with artistic glazes and shapes. The clay used is processed clay. The goods are mostly thrown on electrical potters’ wheel, finished and glazed by hand. The glazes are all in the form of different coloring oxides and chemicals. They are done either by dipping, spraying, brushing, or hand painting. The firing is done in electrical or gas kilns.
